If your daily life seems poor, do not blame it; blame yourself that you are not poet enough to call forth its riches; for the Creator, there is no poverty.
As we embark on Advent, let us all take a moment to disengage from the petty, sordid materialism surrounding us, to contemplate the great riches that were given to us in the Child born in Bethlehem.
May we all reach out to possess Him.
